Event Details

The Technology Strategy Board is set to invest £8 million in its Building Performance Evaluation call.

This competition will enable companies constructing domestic and non-domestic buildings to apply for funding to investigate and monitor building performance, and conduct post-occupancy evaluations. It will enable comparison with predicted performance, and provide a feedback loop for future projects.

The competition will be open on an ongoing basis with quarterly calls for projects. The first call will close on 10th June 2010, with future calls every three months.

This workshop will take place in two parts. The first part will enable applicants to find out more about the call, the benefits to be gained from building performance evaluation and provide an opportunity to ask specific questions to the team who are running the competition.

After lunch from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. there will be an opportunity for people interested in training as Building Performance Evaluators to find out how they can apply to carry out this work.

Please note that we anticipate considerable interest in this event and we request that only one person per organisation attends to enable as many companies as possible to take part.

If this event is oversubscribed Dr Kerry Mashford will be running a webinar on 24 May 2.00 - 3.00 see http://bpewebinar.eventbrite.com for details of how to register./
